We now offer small batch 3D printing and laser cutting/engraving services, through our Robots + Lasers division, to help you develop your product prototypes, produce small amounts of product production, or one-off items.
For larger projects, we may have local alternative vendors who are better equipped to handle the workload.
In most cases, we can do projects on a relatively quick turnaround. Please inquire for rates and current production times. It helps to provide your files for review, and also your material needs, quantities, etc.
Our Equipment:
For 3D printing, we are equipped with a state-of-the-art Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, outfitted with a AMS multiple filament system, capable of multicolor prints. The speed and quality of this machine are stellar, and we can print most items that will fit into a 256 x 256 x 256mm area.
We primarily use PLA, ABS, PETG, and to a smaller extent, TPU. We can also run PLA-C, ASA, and many other filament types, but they may require more setup time and custom ordering of inventory—so expect longer wait times.
For Laser Cutting and Engraving, we have a Glowforge basic. We can handle jobs up to 11″ x 19.5″ and can cut/engrave woods (MDF, Plywood, Hardwoods) up to 1/4″ thick, cast acrylics up to 1/4″ thick, and other laser safe materials that will fit into the machine. We can also etch away anodized finishes, powder coating, and laser marking paints from metals like aluminum and titanium. Results are dependent on the material, coating quality, and underlying substrate. We can source and provide materials for you, or you can provide your own, as long as they meet the requirements. Turnaround time is dependent on stock on hand, or length of time to order materials.
